Al from Sunboy welcomed us into Cartagena with his big Ozzie grin and firm hand shake. We hadn't seen Sunboy since New year at Mustique. He introduced us to David, a customs agent and general fixer. Somewhat surprisingly his office; his 4 door, bright red, bling bling hubs and oversized buck seat [...]

After our circuitous trip via Curacao and Aruba we finally arrived at Cartagena at lunchtime today. The 3 day/2 night sail across was definitely a tale of two halves - for the first half we had no wind so motored (in fact I was worried we would run out of fuel!), and then in the space of an hour yesterday [...]

It's been an interesting couple of weeks and quite awhile since I gave my perspective on our happenings. All good out here. Left Curacao this morning bound for Cartagena. Expect to be there on Saturday. Bit of wind this morning, but it has calmed down this evening. Highlight thus far was a good 4-5kg tuna which will do us for dinner tomorrow night on top of the sushi it provided for sundowners tonight!
