Great day, motorsailing, nice weather, no thunderstorms finally. We finally got to hook-up with our good friend Demi and his friend Peter. We had a fine time catching up on the past year. We will be sailing together to St. Augustine if we can keep up, as he motors faster than we motorsail. Last night, just as our guests were leaving we noticed the phosphouresence in the water, this was Gloria's first time seeing this remarkable event. If you have not heard of this, or seen it , it is when, very small animals that are disturbed ,glow in the dark. You can see the fish as they move and when they dart around it looks like small lightning bolts. Is was a impresive show as I raced the dingy around lighting up the area. Tomarrow New Smyrna Beach if the thunderstorms hold off.

Serious Thunderstorms

Great day motorsailing 6.5 knots sunny, just how it should be,THEN 4:00 PM. Serious thunderstorms tonight blinding rain, 50 mph winds, lightning all around for several hours. The Rocna held firm and the new cockpit windows were great. So we hunkered down and got a break between storms long enough to grill up some burgers. It's all good. Did not get to see Demi as he also had to hunkerdown, maybe tomarrow.
Tomarrow ?? but we want to get north and get away fron these big thunderstorms
